Summer Paradise je píseň o nalezení cesty zpátky do časů, kdy byl člověk na dovolené, do časů, kdy si člověk jen tak vyšel ven a zamiloval se. Je to o touze utéct reálnému životu, nechat práce, nepřemýšlet nad ničím a prostě si jen užívat přítomnosti. Inspirací se pro kluky stala jejich zkušenost s Montrealem, s místem, odkud Simple Plan pocházejí, a kde jsou zvyklí na opravdu studené počasí, kterému někdy prostě chtějí uniknout, a jet na nějaké místo, kde je teplo, a kde se cítí dobře.
