The official numbers published this week by the organizers of the Hot Air Balloon Festival that takes place annually in Quebec, Canada, showed that this year’s concert of Adam Lambert was attended by over 75 000 people – which breaks the record set by Simple Plan in 2009 – the Simple Plan show had been attended by “only” 71 000 attendees.

Adam Lambert was a runner-up on American Idol in 2009 and since then he has become a very popular singer (according to the Forbes magazine he is the first openly gay pop singer), with one released album (For Your Entertainment), hitting the no.1 spots on worldwide music charts.
