Back in Mexico: Simple Plan kick off new tour in Puebla – without David

For the first time during this year, Simple Plan finally brought their 15th anniversary No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls tour to Mexico, where they will be visiting four cities on this run: Puebla, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. And this time around they have their old friends from We The Kings with them, as an acoustic supporting act.

Even though, the band has not confirmed it officially – due to the information we have available from last night’s show in Puebla, it is clear that David Desrosiers is still not back with the band on this tour. David has decided to continue with his home rest, having announced back in May that he’d been fighting depression for a number of years now. Simple Plan continue to perform as a foursome, just like they have for the majority of this year.

The first stop brought SP to the city of Puebla this Saturday, where the band got to perform in the Acropolis Puebla venue, which can hold up to 10 000 people. Compared to the previous setlists, the only change was the readdition of Jet Lag to it instead of Your Love Is A Lie. Check out the setlist from Puebla below:
