Interesting facts: The concept of the music video was created in relation to the current war in Ukraine and therefore includes lots of reference to the war and Ukraine itself. The music video was filmed by Ukrainian director Jensen Noen, who decided to cast only Ukrainian actors and also most of the music video’s post-production was done directly in the war-torn Ukraine by local artists. All proceeds from the video’s views will be donated to UNICEF to support children affected by the war in Ukraine.

Interesting facts: The music video differs from the previous SP music videos by not consisting entirely of the song but also includes spoken parts, in which real-life couples discuss why the other person is perfect to them, even if he/she can’t see their own perfection. Simple Plan included couples of different ages, races and sexual orientations in this video.

Interesting facts: This is Simple Plan’s very first pure performance music video. For the video shoot, the band invited a bunch of real Simple Plan fans, who attended the concert which appears in the video and stayed there for all 5 hours of filming, jumping up and down to the rhythm of the track. Some of the band members also brought some memorabilia to the set such as old posters of Seb’s old (and fan-favorite) guitar with band stickers.

Interesting facts: The only animated music video in Simple Plan’s history with the members of Simple Plan turned into anime characters. The video was created by Animax Asia and is tied to the anime movie LaMB, in which SP members appear as well in their anime form. Set on planet Cerra where LaMB unfolds, the music video delves into the story’s key issue of ‘Lamination’, the planet’s penal system which imprisons criminals in laminated suits to ensure prisoners (LaMBs) have no freedom but remain productive to society as virtual slaves for centuries. The members of SP represent the fighters against ‘Lamination’ on a mission battling android defences to save a wrongly sentenced LaMB, where failure means they have to wait forever for her to be free.

Interesting facts: After a long time, Simple Plan didn’t use their friend Frank Borin to direct their music video, however Frank did appear on the YLIAL set anyway – in his words “to sabotage it”. In the scenes where the band is performing, the background consists of a garden filled with flowers. However as the song progresses, the background slowly becomes darker and darker, with the flowers “dying”. That is supposed to symbolize the “love” or the “relationship” (the song is about) dying as well.
