The Simple Plan machine is going on full-speed these days: the guys have announced that the world premiere of their second music video for their 4th record Get Your Heart On – but for the first single Jet Lag (the Natasha Bedingfield version) will premiere on Wednesday, May 4th 2011, at 11am EST as a part of Jet Lag Airlines.

I believe most of you are already really stoked to listen to the full version of the pilot single from the new Simple Plan record: for Jet Lag. We will probably have to wait for the music video itself a couple days more, but to make you a bit more excited than you already are, here is the first photography from the forementioned music video, that has already leaked online.

The photo, which was taken by a photographer Jeremy Chan features the singer Marie-Mai, who appears on the French version of the song and also in the music video – yes, both female singers (Marie-Mai and Natasha Bedingfield) shot some of the scenes for the Jet Lag videoclip, which means two versions of the video should be produced as well.

In the last few days, practically all of the news were about the upcoming first single Jet Lag – but we should not forget that Simple Plan have already one music video out (although not for a single): for the song Can’t Keep My Hands Off You. So if you’re interested in how the whole shooting went, prepare for a pretty long vlog from behind the scenes of the music video, which Simple Plan posted on their official website:

Patrick Langlois, a long-time friend of the guys from Simple Plan, now a videojournalist for MusiquePlus and also a new father to his first baby (congratulations!), has recently attended the shooting of the new Simple Plan’s music video for the first single: Jet Lag. Patrick documented the band’s trip to Toronto and interviewed some of the members. You can now check out the whole video (in French) on the MusiquePlus website:

Today Simple Plan have officially premiered their new music video from their forthcoming album – for the song “Can’t Keep My Hands Off You”. Although the video was set to premiere at 12pm EST on AOL, it has been available on the AOL website for a couple of hours now.

Once again – this is NOT the first single (although some radio stations decided to release it as one), but as it’s going to be featured in the upcoming Disney movie Prom, the guys decided to create a themed video for it.

Ever since the boys shot the music video for the song Jet Lag two days ago, lots of rumours have started spreading on the internet. I can confirm that Jet Lag will be the song that has been already mentioned by Simple Plan to be available in two versions: in English and in French and (as you’ve been already informed before) one of the featurings on this song should be Marie-Mai.

Wait.. did I just say ONE of the featurings? Yes! Apparently Marie-Mai should only be singing the vocals on the French version of Jet Lag, yet the English version should feature the British singer Natasha Bedingfield, which you may remember from hits such as Unwritten, These Words, or most recently Pocket Full of Sunshine, which you may have heard in the movie Easy A.

It is important to mention that Simple Plan have not confirmed any of the two featurings of these two ladies. At least not yet. What do YOU think about them?
