Here is exclusively the official artwork of the new Summer Paradise single, that is being promoted in Australia (thanks a lot to Marly). This is the 3rd official single off Simple Plan’s album Get Your Heart On! How do you like it?

That was quick! Not even 2 months passed since the release of the last Simple Plan music video and here we are about to watch the next one – this time for the promised new single Summer Paradise! It is the first official Simple Plan music video which is using footage in a way A Big Package For You was – meaning a sort of mix between live footage and footage from when the SP guys are just having fun with each other. This video was directed by Mark Staubach, who has previously directed Simple Plan’s videos for Can’t Keep My Hands Off You and Astronaut. But it wouldn’t be Simple Plan, if there wasn’t a little catch about this video: apparently it won’t be the only music video we’ll see of Summer Paradise! Check out the band’s official statement:

Once again, Australia is ahead of the curve! They are the first country in the world to release Summer Paradise as a single off Get Your Heart On! and we couldn’t be more excited! This is one of our favorite songs off the album and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it. The sun and warm weather are coming to OZ and we really hope this song will be a part of your summer and put a smile on your face.

We had so much fun on our last Australian visit that we decided to make a special “OZ Tour” video for our fans down under and around the world. We hope you will enjoy it and that it will bring back good memories if you were at the shows! We had a blast with you guys and can’t wait to come back!

For all our fans around the world, don’t worry… “Summer Paradise” will be coming to your country really soon! We plan on releasing the song worldwide and film another video as well. We will let you know as soon as we have more details.

According to the latest news, a band called Kotak (which consists of 2 men and 2 women) will be opening for Simple Plan on their upcoming show in Indonesia and it has been confirmed that at least one of the ladies will be joining Simple Plan on stage during their song Jet Lag. Seems like we can expect another female collaboration on this song.

As you know from earlier, Simple Plan have already offered many singers to sing the female vocals in their first single off their album “Get Your Heart On!”, and so that you can have a slightly better grasp on who all these ladies were and when and where they performed with Simple Plan, make sure to check out a barnd new section here on SimplePlan.cz called “Female singers of Jet Lag”, which you can find in the Extra category in our navigation!

At times like these, when most bands are releasing their Xmas songs, Simple Plan are announcing that their new single will be the song “Summer Paradise”. Well, why go with the tide, when you can go against it, right? :) Even though at first sight, the song entitled “Summer Paradise” may look inappropriate for the upcoming winter season, the contratry is the case: Summer Paradise is about wishing to be able to go to some place sunny and warm when you’re only surrounded by cold and snow. And most importantly, when there is someone waiting for you in the sunny place.

It’s no secret that the band has been thinking about making Summmer Paradise the new single for quite a while now, yet nobody has ever confirmed anything. The confirmation finally came from Chuck during last night, when he tweeted the following:

“Hey SP Australian fans! Oz is ahead of the curve once again! Summer Paradise is our brand new single and i hear it’s getting tons of airplay!”

It’s very probably that the new single will be accompanied by a music video in a short time and it’s may as well include the long-awaited shots from Simple Plan’s shows in Australia, which were recorded by the director of the videos Can’t Keep My Hands Off You and Astronaut: Mark Staubach.

So far it looks like it will! According to fans who attended yesterday’s Simple Plan show in Brisbane, the band apparently recorded their new music video for the song Summer Paradise at the concert!

If this news is correct, it would make it the very first official Simple Plan music video to be recorded on a live show.

The song Summer Paradise is one of the tracks on the new album Get Your Heart On!, which includes a guest: a Somali-Canadian singer/rapper K’Naan, who Pierre has collaborate with before on a charitable single Wavin’ flag along with other artists involved in the Young Artists For Haiti project.
