If things turned out differently, the fans in the Czech Republic would have witnessed their third Simple Plan show – this time at the Prague City Festival.
But to a huge disappointment of the fans and all the artists, who were supposed to perform there, the festival has been canceled only two weeks in advance.
After that, there were many fans who thought that after such bad experience with the local promoters, the bands would never want to come back to the Czech Republic again. They were wrong. Well, at least with Simple Plan.
Yesterday, right after the band left their last stop in Europe – the Hungarian VOLT festival, Chuck gave the Czech fans some hope when he tweeted:
“So sad that we are not playing Prague City Festival because the event got cancelled. I was so stoked to see @blink182 and @markhoppus :-( Sorry to all our amazing Czech fans! I promise you: we will be back and will make it up to you with a kick-ass show.”
Simple Plan are currently planning their next European (and also probably the last before heading back home to work on the next record)tour for the end of 2012 – either in November or December.
