Nova Rock change: Simple Plan to perform on the last day of the festival with Green Day!

Important news for all of you who are planning to see Simple Plan at the Nova Rock festival in Austria this June, which so far features one of the greatest alternative/pop-punk music line-ups of all European summer music festivals!

Despite the earlier announcement made by Simple Plan that they would be performing at this festival on June 14th, that is on the first day, alongside Linkin Park, according to the newly released schedule by the festival organizers, Simple Plan will in fact perform on the very last day of Nova Rock – on June 17th – the same day as Green Day, Rancid (and also David Hasselhoff) (big thanks to Alexandra for the info).

With the release of this information, the festival will also start released ultra limited day tickets, starting tomorro at 10am CET (for 85 €). You’ll be able to find them here.

This is a very interesting change, which tells us that the guys are indeed still working on their European tourdates, and it’s very possible that they wanted to make room for more NPNHJB tourdates in Europe, which are expected to be tied to the timing of the already announced European festivals. This change gives Simple Plan almost a full week in between Download festival in the UK and Nova Rock in Austria. Where would you like them to go with the NPNHJB tour? (Please be aware that is more then certain that the festival appearances will not include the “NPNHJB” treatment, that is expected only of regular headlining shows).

And while we wait for more information regarding Europe to be released, check out the full programme of Nova Rock below:
