Pierre in the latest We The Kings’ webisode of “The King’s Carriage”
The guys from the band We The Kings, that is currently opening for Simple Plan all over Europe (and will continue doing so in Australia) have their own special webisodes called “The King’s Carriage” that they keep posting on YouTube, in which they try to document their life on the road and sometimes even create various funny sketches.
The newest one also featured a special guest – no-one other than Mr. Pierre Bouvier from Simple Plan and I definitely recommend you all to watch it – it’s worth it:
Also, if you’re into the youtubers’ scene, you may have heard about Charles Trippy already. Charles is an American youtouber, who also played with We The Kings, and even though he wasn’t able to be a part of the first leg of their European tour with Simple Plan, he has joined them for the second part and ever since then you could already have spotted Simple Plan a couple of times in his daily video-updates.
To highlight some, you can for example check out the vlog from April 24th where at times 6:28-6:39 David is playing his bass for Charles and from 8:01 to 9:00 a couple of members of Simple Plan, including their crew, can be seen singing “Happy Birthday” to Travis (We The Kings’ lead singer).
And also in the vlog from yesterday at time 7:35-7:57 you can watch a few shots from Simple Plan’s performance in Bordeaux – of Thank You and Astronaut.

4 years since the first Simple Plan show in the Czech Republic
Time flies. There’s no doubt. Today, on April 27th 2012, the Czech fans commemorate 4 years since the first ever Simple Plan show in the Czech Republic. The guys stopped in this country during their tour to promote their third, self-titled record, and with thier concert managed to blow away the crowd that consisted of about 3 000 people.
Ever since then, the band has appeared in the Czech Republic once again – in September 2011 and not even a year after that – and just in 2 months, they will play here again – at the Prague City Festival, on June 29th 2012.
If you haven’t yet, make sure to check out the first ever SimplePlan.cz’s interview, that was made with the members of Simple Plan exactly 4 years ago.

Summer Paradise to be released both as a digital and CD single with bonus tracks
Starting today, the Simple Plan fans from Germany, Switzerland and Austria can buy the digital version of Summer Paradise on iTunes. This digital version includes 4 tracks: apart from the regular Sean Paul version of Summer Paradise, the single includes also a never-heard no rap version of Summer Paradise, then a “naked version” of the song Astronaut and finally an acoustic version of Loser Of The Year. According to Chuck, the “naked” version of Astronaut is simply an acoustic version also.
Summer Paradise (single)
01. Summer Paradise (feat. Sean Paul) 02. Summer Paradise (no rap version) 03. Astronaut (“naked version”) 04. Loser Of The Year (acoustic version) [bonus]
But if you’re more into physical copies of singles, you can now also order a CD single of Summer Paradise through Amazon. This CD includes 2 tracks – Summer Paradise feat. Sean Paul and the previously mentioned no rap version.
The latest issue of the British Kerrang magazing has dedicated two pages to Simple Plan. On one of them you can read an interview with Pierre, in which you will find out for example that the Sean Paul version of Summer Paradise has been recorded via Skype, and the second page then has Pierre answering “This or That?” questions – and I think you can already guess what one of them is about, judging by the name of this article. :)
The scans of these two pages can be found in the gallery thanks to Hayley:
