Yesterday, to support the World Lymphoma Awareness Day, Jay Bouvier, Pierre Bouvier’s brother, who went through lymphoma cancer about 10 years ago [and who inspired Simple Plan’s song ‘Save You’], appeared as a guest on the morning show Breakfast Television Montreal.
In the beginning of the spot, the connection between Jay and the Simple Plan song was made and Jay then talked about his journey with cancer and how he became a cancer survivor in the end and now helps support various related causes by discussing this illness publicly and in this case supporting the upcoming Take It To The Mat event supported by Lymphoma Canada.
