Today must be a pretty huge day for the couple of friends Sebastiena Lefebvre & Katie Rox: their first EP called “Christmas Etc.” comes out TODAY. The EP includes 3 songs: “Stay (It’s Christmas)”, “Other Side” and “Rich”. Check out what Katie Rox said about her collaboration with Sebastienem:
I have a friend named Sebastien. Sebastien is a musician. Sebastien lives in Montreal. He plays in Simple Plan, and so from time to time when he is touring and I am touring, we end up in the same city. When we do, we talk music, watch each other’s shows blah blah. We have said on more than one occasion “Let’s write together!”. But, of course, busy schedules, living far away…never really works out.
Then, tada! We finally did do something together! He was all done recording his parts on the new Simple Plan record and had some time. I had some time because…well, because I had time I guess. 3 songs. One is a Christmas song. 2 (the etc part) are not. You can hear samples on our Sebastien & Katie MySpace.
