Perth show review: Simple Plan performed Lucky One live

Yesterday afternoon, after a long flight across the whole Australia, Simple Plan landed in Perth, where they were scheduled to do the only off-Warped show this year. But before we get to the show itself, let’s check out what the guys have been up to before that.

Earlier that day Chuck and Pierre visited the 92.9 radio station in Perth, where they talked about their new EP and played a little game that Chuck called “worst interview game he’s played in his entire life”. You can go and listen to it here (Simple Plan come up at mark 12:45). After that, Chuck and Pierre went to play golf, in which Chuck won and then they came back to the venue for the soundcheck that some of the Simple Plan fans got to attend. After the soundcheck, Seb and Chuck took over the @WarpedAu Twitter account and answered many of the fans’ questions.

Here you can see some pictures from the backstage and from the soundcheck:

In the evening, everything for ready for Simple Plan to rock another show in Australia. This time once again with Tonight Alive as their opening band, who’s lead singer Jenna McDougall eventually joined SP on stage for “Jet Lag”. One of the biggest surprises for the Perth fans was that since Simple Plan has a chance to finally soundcheck before the show, they could practise one of their new songs: Lucky One and perform it during the concert. Check out the first couple of pictures that already made their way online:
