Simple Plan kick off Mexican tour: first stop in Merida

Coliseo Yucatán, a big arena in the city of Merida, Mexico, finally got to experience Simple Plan’s Taking One For The Team tour show last night. The band had arrived to Mexico the day before and were ready to rock the first stop at their Mexican tour on July 19th.

The fans were greeted by the Montreal fivesome, who presented their 19-songs-long setlist, which looked like this:

1. Opinion Overload
2. Jet Lag
3. Jump
(‘I Gotta Feeling‘ snippet)
4. I’d Do Anything
5. Boom
6. Welcome to My Life
7. Kiss Me Like Nobody’s Watching
8. Your Love Is A Lie
9. Singing In The Rain
10. Party medley
(‚Uptown Funk‘ / ‚Can’t Feel My Face‘ cover)
11. Can’t Keep My Hands Off You
12. Farewell
13. Summer Paradise
14. Crazy
15. I’m Just a Kid

Encore:
16. Shut Up!

(no drums)

During Crazy, Pierre went into the crowd, just like he used to do at the European tour, and sang his heart out surrounded by the Mexican fans. Check it out on this up-close video below:
