Simple Plan have been confirmed as one of three acts to perform at this year’s Queen City Ex festival in Regina, SK, Canada alongside Classified and Loverbody. Check out more info about this festival below:

It has been announced that Simple Plan will be partaking in the celebrations of Canada Day again, this year in Fort McMurray, Alberta, at the Canada Rocks festival.

The festival takes place on June 30th and July 1st and Simple Plan will be headlining the opening night with the supporting band Friends of Jack.

“We’re really happy to announce Simple Plan,” said the director of the organising company Events Wood Buffalo – David Whitelock. “[They're] multi-award winning, Juno award-winning, sold over four million records, probably the biggest band in Canada in the last 10 years. So we have them to come and be our headliner this year.”

If you are in Canada during summer and are dying to know if Simple Plan would be playing any shows in August – the answer is yes, they will indeed!

It has just been announced that Simple Plan will be participating in the Accélération de camion 2013 event in St-Joseph de Beauce, QC – the 10th anniversary edition of this event which consists of shooting competitions and truck races (thanks Gabrielle for the initial heads-up). The open-air concert will take place on August 30th 2013 and it will be free of charge as the organizers wanted to give a little gift to the festival-goers. The organisers are expecting about 25 000 visitors to attend this event.

If you’re from Quebec, Canada and you’ve only recently got your hands on Simple Plan’s biography Simple Plan: The Official Story and would like to get it signed, now’s your chance! The International Book Fair of Quebec – Salon International du Livre de Québec – has announced the program for its 2013 edition and Simple Plan have been revealed to be present there for an autograph session, on April 14th from 1pm to 3pm (in Foyer 4). On Sunday afternoon, March 10th, Chuck attended the previously announced celebrity hockey game at the Sylvio-Mantha arena in Montreal, Canada, to help raise money for the residents of the nursing home at the Des Segneurs et Saint-Henri center through the Résidences Mance-Décar Foundation.

Chuck was named the team captain and even scored two times during the game and helped his team win with the final score 12:8.
