EXCLUSIVE: SimplePlan.cz interview with Pierre, Chuck and Seb

On Tuesday right before their show in Antwerp, Belgium, I had the biggest pleasure of interviewing Simple Plan exclusively for SimplePlan.cz again. And this time around, I had the chance to talk to Pierre, Chuck and Sebastien, who were eager to discuss their past, the upcoming cover medleys, their new album and much more!

Big thanks for the help with the set up of this interview goes to Sim and the whole Coalition Music team.

Enjoy:

EXCLUSIVE SimplePlan.cz sneak peeks #3 & #4: David and Jeff on Accès illimité

In just one day, on March 15th 2015, the Simple Plan special on Accès illimité will air on TVA. And after sneak peeks #1 and #2, the tim has come for me to release the next two exclusive sneak peeks – this time of David’s and Jeff’s parts of the episode. Check them out with the English translation (big thanks to Rebecca!) below:

Anouk: Do you like the becoming a celebrity part of popularity?
David: It’s something that I never really assimilated into, I find that a little bit special. I would tell you that it’s why I change my look often. It’s annoying..
Anouk: To be recognized?
David: I never started to make music to be recognized and I think that the people that make music for that reason, they don’t understand it.

Anouk: What’s crazy is that I have the impression that we hear as much talk about Jeff the restaurateur as about Jeff the musician.
Jeff: It’s funny how things turn out. Simple Plan was my pastime when I was a classic musician and it’s become my job and a complet lifestyle and now the restaurant business: I started with a small drinking establishment, Le Philemon, in the old Montreal and eventually I realized that it can exist “by itself”, that they don’t need me in this project. So, I withdrew and now I opened Mangiafoco just next door and other projects.
Anouk: But you distinguish yourself, your projects work but what if the restauration becomes more important, could Simple Plan find itself without Jeff Stinco?

EXCLUSIVE SimplePlan.cz sneak peek #1: Pierre Bouvier on Accès illimité

This Sunday, March 15th 2015 at 9:30pm EST Simple Plan will be featured in the new episode of Accès illimité on TVA. We’ve already seen a couple of pictures from the filming of this special (here, here and here) but now you’re in for an even better treat!

Thanks to SimplePlan.cz’s collaboration with the production of Accès illimité, SimplePlan.cz has aquired 6 exclusive sneak peeks of the upcoming episode of this program, which I will be revealing to you one by one every day until Sunday, when the full episode episode airs (yes, that means you will get two on each day of the weekend :)). You can check out more about Accès illimité on their website, Facebook or Twitter.

And finally – the first sneak peek includes a look at the interview with Pierre, who took Accès illimité’s Anouk Meunier to his favorite surfing place. Check it out:

Thanks to Veroe you can now also check out the English translation of this video:

Anouk: Hi!
Pierre: Hi, how are you?
Anouk: I’m fine and you?
Pierre: Good!

Anouk: How long have you been practising surfing?
Pierre: 7-8 years. It’s a sport that also helps me spiritually.
Anouk: Really?
Pierre: Yeah, it teaches you that things are a little bit out of control and sometimes you just have to let go.

SimplePlan.cz exclusive preview of “Ordinary Life”

SimplePlan.cz teamed up with Coalition Music (Simple Plan’s management company) to reveal an exclusive preview from Simple Plan’s upcoming EP – “Get Your Heart On – The Second Coming!”. The song is called “Ordinary Life” and I am absolutely positive that you’ll all love it.

Without any further ado, check out “Ordinary Life” right here on SimplePlan.cz:

One, two, three, four, five
Another week goes by
I’m half alive
I’m getting sick
I’m faking this
I’m over it
Don’t wanna wear that suit and tie
Gotta live before I die
So I’m done done done
With this ordinary life
What happened to the someday
What happened to the dreams of the wide-eyed kid
Don’t tell me that it’s too late

After, make sure to tell me in the comments what you think of the new track – and most importantly, go and tell the SP guys on Twitter!
