This Sunday, December 9th, TVA will be broadcasting a special Christmas episode of a game show called On connaît la chanson that Simple Plan along with Marie-Mai will be a part of. You can now view the first revealed mini-sized picture from the taping and also three new teasers for the show, which revealed that Simple Plan will play at least 3 songs: Welcome To My Life, Jet Lag (feat. Marie-Mai) and Summer Paradise.

Simple Plan along with Marie-Mai, who has collaborated with the band on the song Jet Lag, will appear on a special pre-taped Christmas episode of the “On Connaît La Chanson” game show that will air on TVA on December 9th at 7pm.

The concept of “On Connaît La Chanson”, hosted by Mario Tessier, is for the contestants to sing a song with a live band playing it behind them without the lyrics to the song on screen.

Yesterday Simple Plan played their last show in August – in St-Jean sur le Richelieu, where the annual International festival des Mongolfieres, a festival of hot-air balloons, took place. And as Marie-Mai performed there that day too, it was expected that she would join Simple Plan again for their common duet – Jet Lag. It has only yesterday come to my attention that for many months now, the radios in Canada have been playing a slightly different French version of Simple Plan’s song “Jet Lag” (feat. Marie-Mai) that we were used to (check the official music video). As mentioned in the post yesterday, the song is different only in a couple of lyrics, but still, if you don’t live in Canada and have not come across this version of the song yet, you can check it out below:
