Max Ellis (The Bottom Line): “Touring with Simple Plan was beyond anything we’ve ever done before.”

European Simple Plan fans surely still have the British band The Bottom Line in their memory, as they famously opened for Simple Plan on both parts of their European tour in 2016 and managed to win the hearts of many SP fans there. Max Ellis, the bassist and vocalist of The Bottom Line, recently gave an interview to Lizzie’s Lowdown, in which he spoke very highly of his band’s times on the road with Simple Plan.

Check out the parts of the interview, where Max discusses SP below:

Last year you toured with one of the biggest names in pop punk Simple Plan, how did that feel?
Amazing. We were absolutely privileged to be on their tour and they are such legit, down to earth guys. The shows were beyond anything we’ve ever done before. Also, to be invited back onto the second leg of the ‘Taking One For The Team’ tour just because they enjoyed our show & company so much blew us away.

If you could tour with any band/artist who would be it and why?
I think this varies for all of us, but the names that usually pop up are New Found Glory, Neck Deep, Sum 41, Blink 182 & of course, another tour with our boys in Simple Plan. Personally I would say Blink, I was (still am) obsessed with them growing up & that’s been my dream tour for as long as I can remember.
