Simple Plan release French version of “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed”

Earlier this morning, Jeff Stinco appeared on the Canadian CKOI radio station, where he was set to premiere Simple Plan’s new single “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed”. However to a huge surprise to all the fans who were listening, the song that Jeff premiered wasn’t the English version of the song that we got to hear yesterday for the first time, but a French version.

According to Bianca, who was listening to the live stream, the structure of the song is similar to Jet Lag’s French version – that is, French verses and an English chorus.

As of right now, the audio of the French version is not available anywhere, but I’m sure we’ll get to hear it in time. It is also currently unknown whether the French version will be featured on the album, but if Jet Lag’s French version is any indication, fans from France or Canada may expect it on their editions of the album, or we may also get it in the form of a bonus song.

Simple Plan’s single “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” to feature Nelly + single’s cover revealed

For a couple of months now, we’ve been aware that one of the new songs on the new Simple Plan album might be featuring the American rapper Nelly, however the collaboration has never been officially confirmed, plus we had no idea which song he could be singing/rapping on. That is until now.

UK’s Sainsbury’s Entertainment website has already posted a page about the upcoming new Simple Plan single “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” and revealed that this is in fact the song that Nelly is featured on. Whether he is also featured in the music video is currently unknown. Nelly has had quite a few very popular features in the past (including “Dilemma” with Kelly Rowland or “Over And Over” with Tim McGrath).

Besides that, Sainsbury’s also revealed the single’s cover (which can be seen on the right) and also the song’s length, which is 3 minutes and 15 seconds.

Don’t forget, “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” is coming out this Friday, October 16th.

Simple Plan to possibly collaborate with rapper Nelly!

For a few months now, the Simple Plan fans have been aware that Simple Plan plan on once again collaborating with some other artists on their upcoming fifth studio album. Uptil now, however, no signs of any aprticular collaboration have been specified. But now, things are finally starting to look up!

According to a very recent Instagram post by @RDvision, Chuck and Pierre from Simple Plan had a studio session two days ago with the American rapper, singer and song-writer Nelly. You may recall Nelly from such hits as “Dilemma” (feat. Kelly Rowland) or Over And Over (feat. Tim McGraw).

If this collaboration is true (the band itself has not commented on it yet), it is not the first time Simple Plan have worked with a rapper. On their album Get Your Heart On! (2011) they featured K’Naan on “Summer Paradise”, and Sean Paul on the subsequent version of this song. In 2008 the band also did a live collaboration with the rapper Flo Rida at the MMVAs.
