\nYesterday in Sydney, Australia, Troy Culpan<\/i> from May The Rock Be With You<\/i> had the chance to interview Sebastien and Jeff from Simple Plan at Warped Tour. The interview<\/a> is quite long and the boys talk about the new EP, being in a band for so long with no line-up changes etc. Below you can read an excerpt from it for which I picked the most interesting questions and answers. In them, Seb and Jeff talk about why the band sadly won’t be playing any of the newly released songs in Australia<\/b> and also touch the subject of the long-awaited DVD<\/b>, which is still in works.<\/p>\n

Are you playing any of these new [songs] while in Australia?<\/b>
\nS\u00e9bastien:<\/b> We\u2019re not, funny enough we haven\u2019t had a chance to practise anything\u2026
\nJeff:<\/b> *laughs*
\nS\u00e9bastien:<\/b> We just came here and thought we\u2019ve got sound check every day, and there\u2019s no sound check and we\u2019re like\u2026
\nBoth:<\/b> Shit\u2026 *laughs*
\nS\u00e9bastien:<\/b> But it turns out that a lot of fans that come they\u2019ve been into the band from the very beginning so they really, really want to hear some old songs which we\u2019re happy to play anyway\u2026<\/p>\n

Sarah wanted to know about the DVD, there were whispers about it and then nothing…<\/b>
\nJeff:<\/b> Yeah what the fuck\u2019s going on with that?
\nS\u00e9bastien:<\/b> I have no idea, we filmed a whole show the last time we were in Australia, it\u2019s gorgeous, it\u2019s beautiful, we\u2019re just trying to figure out how to release it, is it going to be a DVD? Is it going to be an online thing? We\u2019re just in the midst of trying to figure that out\u2026
