After being nominated<\/a> by Marc-\u00c9douard Vlasic, the defenceman for the San Jose Sharks, yesterday, Chuck Comeau<\/b> also decided to take part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge today.<\/p>\n

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge<\/b> is a currently extremely viral global activity, in which within 24 hours after being challenged, the participant has to record a video of themselves pouring a bucket of water and ice over his head. After that the person nominates other people who have to take part in the challenge within the next 24 hours (and is also expected to donate at least $10) or – if they don’t – donate $100 to the ALS Association, which is trying to help people with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as the Lou Gehrig’s Disease). According to the latest news<\/a>, thanks to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge more than 15 million dollars have been raised worldwide in favor of the ALS Association.<\/p>\n

In his video, Chuck nominated his fellow band members: Pierre, Jeff, Sebastien and David<\/b>, and along with them also Joel and Benji Madden, Avril Lavigne, Chad Kroeger and Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/b>.
