After more than a year of song-writing, Jeff finally confirmed today that the band is currently in the process of picking songs for their upcoming fifth album<\/b>. Pierre and Chuck, a.k.a. the lead song-writers, managed to write about 60 songs in the past 14 months, from which about 11 will be chosen, which will be recorded in the studio and will end up on the final version of the album. Whether Pierre and Chuck will try to write some more songs until then is unknown.<\/p>\n

In his tweet<\/a>, Jeff also re-confirmed that the band will be entering the studio in a few weeks<\/i>, that is in January 2015.<\/b> Simple Plan currently hope to release it by the end of spring.<\/p>\n
