I’m sure you’re all very excited about the preview<\/a> of a demo of a new SP song, but let’s get back to where the proper versions of the new songs are currently getting made: to the studio<\/b>!<\/p>\n

Simple Plan just started week #3 in the recording studio and things are going really great [see all pictures from the studio<\/a>]! According to Jeff, over the weekend the band members have received the first mixed song of the record and as we can tell from looking at the new picture of the progress board<\/b>, that is indeed true. And if we compare the state of the progress board from the end of first week<\/a>, the guys have also done a significant progress on the guitars and bass on many other songs.<\/p>\n

You can also notice that while the first published photo of the progress board included only 11 songs, it is now clear that Simple Plan want to record at least 13 songs<\/b>. Whether all the songs will be on the album is yet unclear. The additional songs could be used as bonus songs on deluxe versions of the album.<\/p>\n
