\"\"For many years now, the Simple Plan Foundation<\/a> has been working very closely with GRIS Montreal<\/b>, organisation that helps demystify homosexuality and bisexuality in schools all over the province of Quebec. In their joint effort, the two organizations created a prize<\/a> – “The GRIS-Simple Plan Foundation Prize”<\/b> – of $2000 – that is being given every year to one chosen high school in Quebec as a reward to students who have taken novel initiatives to fight homophobia<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Today, September 23rd 2015, GRIS Montreal held their annual conference, which was – as usual – also attended by Jeff Stinco from Simple Plan. Jeff was there to hand over the prize to this year’s winners – \u00c9cole Polyvalente Saint-Joseph<\/b> from Mont-Laurier, which created a great project called “Stop hopophobia” which many local students got involved in.<\/p>\n
