Today, we commemorate 9 years since the release of Simple Plan’s third album, the self-titled one<\/b>. The record that is now certified platinum in Canada, was produced by Dave Fortman, and which was released on February 12th 2008.<\/p>\nToday, we commemorate 9 years since the release of Simple Plan’s third album, the self-titled one<\/b>. This album was one of the hardest ones to write for the two song-writers, Pierre and Chuck, as during their song-writing period, they were dealing with some very hard personal struggles<\/b> (Chuck was just slowly getting over a hard breakup, while Pierre’s older brother Jay was suffering from cancer, which affected the whole family). After a lengthy song-writer’s block, the duo finally managed to get back on the track and use their personal experience and put them into their own songs. This is how songs such as ‘Your Love Is A Lie’<\/b> and ‘Save You’<\/b> came about.<\/p>\n
