After three weeks in Europe, Simple Plan are taking off this morning and heading back home to Canada and the U.S. for some well-deserved time off<\/b> before a couple of festival appearances in Canada.<\/p>\n

To say goodbye, the band published a lengthy post thanking all their fans<\/b> for attending the past few European shows and also mentioning how much they missed having their friend David on this tour<\/b>, but at the same time how grateful they are that he’s at home trying to get better.<\/p>\n

“Yesterday was our last show on the European NPNHJB tour and we are now all heading home, a little tired but with huge smiles on our faces. We had a fantastic 3 weeks of shows all over the old continent and it was such a pleasure to play for all our amazing fans here. We loved visiting all these beautiful countries, playing crazy-packed, sold out headlining shows and some of the world’s biggest and best music festivals. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻<\/p>\n

Thank you to everyone who came to see us and supports this band, to everyone who traveled from far away to attend a show, to all the bands we played with and to all the crew personnel for making it all happen. We are extremely grateful for your passion and devotion. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻<\/p>\n

We missed our brother David Desrosiers on this tour, but knowing he’s home getting better is more important than anything and we appreciate all the good wishes and support you sent to him.<\/p>\n

We can’t wait to return to Europe and come play more shows for you. And we look forward to many more tours this year: in the next 6 months, we will be bringing the NPNHJB tour to Canada, the US, Japan and more to be announced soon. But there’s no need to feel sad – Simple Plan will be back in Europe sooner than we thought!<\/b> Jeff already confirmed in one of his latest Instagram posts that the band is already working on adding some more dates in those European countries, which have not been given the “No Pads treatment” yet!<\/b> Announcements should be coming soon! Read Jeff’s mysterious message below:<\/p>\n
