\"\"Although Simple Plan didn’t perform at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver 2010<\/strong>, they DID perform at the closing ceremonies!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Their performace was a huge surprise for all the fans<\/strong>, as most of the stars, who were attending this event were confirmed before – but the guys from Simple Plan kept their surprise to themselves and they announced it only few minutes before they hit the stage with the song “Your Love Is A Lie” in front of an enormous audience in Vancouver, plus being watched by millions all over the world. <\/p>\n

Local canadian stars ruled the closing ceremony – apart from Simple Plan also musicians Nickelback, Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morisette and Michael Buble performed.<\/p>\n

Also. even though most of the Europe was asleep at that time, Simple Plan managed to get into the “Trending Topics” on Twitter!<\/p>\n
