Music fans in Montreal, Canada eagerly expected Wednesday evening, October 10th, when Mike Shinoda<\/b> (one of the members of Linkin Park) was set to perform at the MTELUS venue, a show that was a part of his Post-Traumatic tour, supporting his new album, \"\"in which this multi-talented musician deals with the loss of his friend and band-mate Chester Bennington<\/a>, who died of suicide last July.<\/p>\n

One of the members of Simple Plan, Seb Lefebvre, of course could not miss out on this special show<\/b>, especially since his friends from Warped Tour – Don Broco – were opening for Mike Shinoda. After the show, Sebastien decided to film a short video message for Mike, in which he admitted how moved he was seeing all his fans and the atmosphere they created together at this show<\/b>. According to Seb, the evening was all the more moving since that day was World Mental Health Day. <\/p>\n

Yesterday was Mental Health Awareness Day and I happened to go see Don Broco and Mike Shinoda here in Montreal. I was moved by Mike\u2019s presence and personality on stage, and even more so by all the fans that came to the show to have a moment together. It\u2019s important to surround yourself with people you love and to talk when you are not feeling good. And it\u2019s normal to have feelings. I came out of the show feeling hopeful that people are fundamentally good, and that love will always win.<\/p>\n

This felt important so I made a little video. ✌🏻✌🏻<\/i>\n<\/div>\n
