Over the weekend at Slam Dunk Festival, Pierre gave an interview to Brainstorming Music<\/a><\/b>, in which he revealed quite a number of interesting information about Simple Plan’s upcoming 6th album and also made a short comment about David’s possible return back on tour with the new album.<\/b><\/p>\n

How are the works for the new album going?<\/b><\/p>\n

Pierre:<\/b> It\u2019s going amazing. Fans are gonna love it, it\u2019s going to be the best record ever. I\u2019m serious about it. The songs are really good. Really really good. Very very exciting. We have pretty much all written and we\u2019re gonna hit the studio soon, we\u2019re gonna record it and pop it out.<\/i><\/p>\n

We know that you\u2019re working with Travis from We The Kings. Should we expect a more pop\/melodic album?<\/b><\/p>\n

Pierre:<\/b> Well, we wrote with other people – we wrote with different writers and we worked with a guy called Andrew Goldstein, we worked with Travis, we worked with many other people. But it\u2019s nice to have someone who just\u2026 cause I like Travis to writing the song for us, you know? Cause we write and he\u2019s there with us. The idea is, I would say, the lyrics, concepts – always Chuck comes up with that. Then we get melodies and stuff like that.. And it\u2019s just nice to have someone that can help out when I get stuck somewhere, like if I have an idea but I don\u2019t know where to take it. So Travis – he can play guitar, he can play the piano, he can play the drums, he can sing, so\u2026 it\u2019s good to have someone that balances it out with more ideas. But I would say the album is Simple Plan, pop-punk, it\u2019s got some heavy songs, some pop songs, it\u2019s got some dark songs, very emotional, very emotional. Our fans are gonna love it. I predict it\u2019s gonna be a fan-favorite.<\/i><\/p>\n

Another question from the fans is about David. Will he come back on tour with the new album?<\/b><\/p>\n

Pierre:<\/b> I think he\u2019s getting there, he\u2019s almost ready. <\/i>\n <\/div>\n
