\nThe forementioned website Superadrianme.com<\/a> published not only a video and photographs, but also revealed one very interesting thing: it gave the fans a chance to read for the first time partial lyrics to two new Simple Plan songs from their upcoming album Get Your Heart On!<\/b> (by the way, the album cover art can now be found thanks to SPB.com<\/a> in high quality<\/b>)<\/p>\n

The first song is “Summer Paradise”<\/b>, on which Simple Plan have joined their forces with K’Naan. Accoridng to those, who have already listened to the song, its style could be compared to the music of Jason Mraz or Jack Johnson. <\/p>\n

Summer Paradise is aptly named to describe the sentiment of people from cooler climate nations who would like to get to somewhere warm during the cool wintry season, and the sad feeling when leaving to go back to the cold weather after meeting someone special. The lyrics \u201cI\u2019ll be there in a heartbeat\u201d<\/b>, \u201chow can you show me paradise when I\u2019m leaving\u201d<\/b>, \u201csomeday I will find my way to where your name is written in the sand\u201d<\/b> and \u201csummer paradise with you\u201d<\/b> demonstrate this sentiment and feeling.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The second song is the famous “This Song Saved My Life”<\/b>, which Simple Plan composed along with their fanbase, making it the first song ever to be written through Twitter:<\/p>\n

The last track in this new album entitled \u201cThis Song Saved My Life\u201c about the emotional power music can have in one\u2019s life has captured the sentiments behind the thousands of fan mail the band received at its Montreal headquarters each month. The band\u2019s vocalist Pierre Bouvier shares that \u201dthese letters are pretty overwhelming and humbling at the same time so we wanted to somehow pay homage to those fans. We were sitting there going, \u2018I don\u2019t know, what do you think they would say?\u2019 and Chuck says,\u2019Why don\u2019t we just ask them\u2019\u201d. Chuck comeau poster on his twitter feed \u201cWe decided to write a song about you guys \u2026. can you tell me how our music has made you feel through the years?\u201d From the responses they received, Bouvier and Comeau constructed their first song ever written entirely via twitter. 25 of their fans from around the world also contributed to the chorus singing \u2018this Song saved my life\u201d in parts of the song. With lyrics such as \u201ctrapped in a hole where everyone hates me\u201d<\/b> and \u201cI was broken, choking, lost, bleeding \u2026\u2026. this song saved my life\u201d<\/b>, this song encapsulates how people use music to cope with life and sometimes music saves lifes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
