Since the celebrations of the New Year’s Eve are already behind us, let’s take a look at what our five Canadian boys were up to on this magical night.<\/p>\n

One day before the New Year’s Eve, Simple Plan got to the borders between Canada and the US, to Niagara Falls<\/b>. This is where the band performed before, during and after midnight as the main stars of the night during the New Year’s Eve special that was also aired live on Global TV<\/b>. You can already find a few pictures from the rehearsal from the day before and also the first picture<\/b> from the show itself in the gallery:<\/p>\n

Simple Plan jumped on the stage about half an hour before midnight and played a couple of their greatest hits. They also had the honour to do the countdown to midnight along with tens of thousands of spectators. The boys started the year off with their own special version of the traditional New Year’s song Auld Lang Syne, which you can check out below:<\/p>\n

After that, the first original Simple Plan song that the band played live in 2012 has been the good old classic: “I’d Do Anything”. <\/p>\n
