Fat Wreck Chords have recently released a statement regarding the tribute album dedicated to the memory of the late Tony Sly: “The Songs Of Tony Sly: A Tribute” that had been released last year. According to the record label’s website, the sales of the tribute album, which featured numerous covers of Tony Sly’s (and No Use For A Name’s) songs – including Simple Plan’s cover of “Justified Black Eye” – have reached $100 000. The money will be used to support Tony Sly’s daughters.

Of course, huge thanks also needs to be given to all of the artists, musicians, producers, engineers, photographers and designers who donated their time and talents to make this unique album a reality. You made this monumental contribution to Tony’s legacy possible. Thank you!
