After their fifth studio album (Taking One For The Team) Simple Plan’s original five record deal with Atlantic Records was finished. The band released their 6th studio album ‘Harder Than It Looks’ as free agents without any record label above them. Simple Plan’s management company still remains the same.

Warner Music runs a large number of record labels – most notably under the Atlantic Records Group we can find Atlantic Records, the record label that Simple Plan have been signed to since the beginning of their career – since 2001. The record deal ended after the fifth studio record. Since then, Simple Plan release music on their own without a record label.
Simple Plan are managed by Coalition Music, a management company located in Montreal, Canada. Coalition Music (originally Coalition Entertainment) was founded in 1992 by Eric Lawrence and Rob Lanni. In 2001, they signed Simple Plan to their management roster and since then Eric Lawrence officially became Simple Plan’s manager.
Apart from Simple Plan, Coalition Music currently manages a number of artists including Our Lady Peace, Finger Eleven, The Waking Eyes or Justin Nozuka.
