True Colors (Artist Against) wins at Canadian Radio Music Awards!

Although Simple Plan did not turn their nomination for Song Of The Year with Summer Paradise into a win (Carly Rae Jepsen took this award home instead for “Call Me Maybe”) at this year’s Canadian Radio Music Awards, one of the members of Simple Plan did win last night… in a way.

A group of Canadian musicians, who called themselves Artist Against, won the Heatseeker Award for Special Collaboration for their rendition of Cyndi Laupner’s song “True Colors”. And you may recall that Pierre Bouvier was a part of this collaboration as well! So congratultaions, Pierre!

The Canadian Music Week still continues and we still have some Simple Plan action ahead! Today, Chuck will be speaking at two panels there and later in the evening, the rest of the band will also arrive to Toronto (where CMW is being held) and they will be awarded with the Allan Slaight Humanitarian Spirit Award tonight for their charitable efforts with Simple Plan Foundation.
