It has been announced that Simple Plan will be partaking in the celebrations of Canada Day again, this year in Fort McMurray, Alberta, at the Canada Rocks festival.
The festival takes place on June 30th and July 1st and Simple Plan will be headlining the opening night with the supporting band Friends of Jack.
“We’re really happy to announce Simple Plan,” said the director of the organising company Events Wood Buffalo – David Whitelock. “[They’re] multi-award winning, Juno award-winning, sold over four million records, probably the biggest band in Canada in the last 10 years. So we have them to come and be our headliner this year.”
