Just a week ago Simple Plan started recording their upcoming EP in the studio in Los Angeles (with only Chuck and probably also Pierre there) and it’s safe to say that the guys are making a great progress!
According to Chuck’s tweet from earlier today, the works are going so smoothly that Sebastien’s guitar parts on all of the songs on the EP are already finished!
.@SebLefebvre is already done playing his guitar parts on our new songs for the #SPEP That guy is on fire! It's coming people!

The EP will not be a full-length album, but will only include 5 to 7 songs The release date is still unknown but Simple Plan are hoping for either the end of 2013 or the beginning of 2014.
Simple Plan will all reunite later today when they all arrive to Mexico, where they are to play a show at MTV World Stage in Monterrey with Fall Out Boy tomorrow. The band will continue working on the EP right after that.
