In the past couple of months, Simple Plan have been furiously working on a way to bring some new music to their fans before they dive back into writing music and lyrics for their fifth full-length album (expected in 2014/2015). They came up with the idea to release an EP – extended play – an album with a small amount of songs – that would make their fans satisfied (at least for a while!) before the next album come out.
The EP would be consisted of songs that were among the 70+ songs written for their last record – “Get Your Heart On!” – but didn’t make the final cut.
And after the past days filled up with teasing through every medium possible – Simple Plan have finally revealed the details about the new EP – called “Get Your Heart On – The Second Coming!” (yes, definitely pun intended) for which you can already check out the album cover on the left [or in the full size in the gallery].
The EP will be coming out on November 29th 2013 in Australia (in just two weeks!) and on December 3rd worldwide and will be featuring 7 songs in total. Check out the full tracklist:

well it’s kinda funny to think that we’ve already heard some of those songs (try, and fire in my heart were leaked online with the GYHO album release)
Yes, but those were demo versions that leaked. You can look forward to hearing the actually recorded versions now :)
