6 years since the release of the self-titled album by Simple Plan

Wanna feel old? Today, February 12th, marks the 6th anniversary since the release of Simple Plan’s 3rd studio record – the self-titled (“Simple Plan”) album.

While musically, the band slightly departed from their original pop-punk sound that they’ve established on their first two records, the album still became a success – mostly in Europe, Australia and South America. The band released 3 singles (with accompanying music videos) from this album: firstly “When I’m Gone”, then “Your Love Is A Lie” and lastly “Save You”.

To celebrate this anniversary, let’s remind ourselves of summer of 2007 when the boys recorded this album and Patrick kept us updated with the studio vlogs – back when “group vlogs sucked” :)
