If you thought that in this time – where we don’t get as many news from the band as we usually do – that the band has just been slacking off – I have to disappoint you. In fact, according to Jeff’s recent tweet, the members of Simple Plan got together yesterday – most probably on Skype (due to being in different places in the North America right now) – to talk about Simple Plan’s upcoming projects:

In the past 5 months, Chuck and Pierre have slowly started working on writing songs for the band’s upcoming album – album no. 5, which is planned to be released around the beginning of the next year (2015). Also, besides the album, the band is still yet to release the sequel to their first DVD – “A Big Package For You” (2003) – for which they should have tons of hours’ worth of footage from the past 11 years.
