Simple Plan’s upcoming European tour, which will take place before they release their new record – in August and beginning of September – might be upped by two new tourdates – in Spain!
According to Last.fm, Simple Plan should be performing in Barcelona (at Sala Apolo) and Valencia (El Loco) on the 8th and 9th September respectively. The dates make sense, as Simple Plan’s last known tourdate so far is the recently announced show in Rome, Italy on September 6th. However since the events on Last.fm are user-operated, I cannot confirm this information is a fact. However, thanks to Alberto, we managed to find one other source that mentions the two upcoming Spanish shows: according to PlanDeGira.com, the two shows will take place in Barcelona and Badajoz. It is quite possible though that the Badajoz date is an error, as the name of the club is the same as the one in Valencia, and it being a much larger city, it is much more probable that Simple Plan would come there rather than to the small city of Badajoz.
Until now, neither Simple Plan, nor any Spanish promoters or clubs confirmed these rumored Spanish dates. But here’s the recap nonetheless:
