For the third time this week, we have another festival that Simple Plan will appear on this summer, announcing that their sales are off the charts!
This time around it’s the Festival Éole en musique, which takes place in Matane, QC, Canada on August 12th. This will be the first time ever that Simple Plan are heading to the hometown of their bassplayer David Desrosiers, which may be one of the reasons why the tickets are selling out so fast.
In fact, the front-of-stage sector is already sold-out and half of the general admission tickets are gone too – all that just two weeks after the tickets went on sale.
The president of the Éole en musique festival, Sébastien Tremblay, commented on this extraordinary interest of the public to this year’s edition of the festival: “This is the first time in eight years that we have sold tickets this quickly. The announcement of Simple Plan coming to Matane caused a snowball effect on social media. This band is very popular in Quebec these days!“
