After three weeks in Europe, Simple Plan are taking off this morning and heading back home to Canada and the U.S. for some well-deserved time off before a couple of festival appearances in Canada.
To say goodbye, the band published a lengthy post thanking all their fans for attending the past few European shows and also mentioning how much they missed having their friend David on this tour, but at the same time how grateful they are that he’s at home trying to get better.

We missed our brother David Desrosiers on this tour, but knowing he’s home getting better is more important than anything and we appreciate all the good wishes and support you sent to him.

But there’s no need to feel sad – Simple Plan will be back in Europe sooner than we thought! Jeff already confirmed in one of his latest Instagram posts that the band is already working on adding some more dates in those European countries, which have not been given the “No Pads treatment” yet!
