It may sound a bit unbelievable, but today it’s exactly 8 years since the release of the Simple Plan’s debut album – “No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls.”

This album, which became platinum two times in the United States and brought a huge success to Simple Plan, was released for the first time on March 19th 2002. Four singles in total came out of this record: I’m Just A Kid, I’d Do Anything, Addicted and Perfect. NPNHJB (as fans like to shorten the name of this album) is the only Simple Plan’s album that includes notable collaborations with other artists – particularly it’s Mark Hoppus (Blink 182) in the song I’d Do Anything (he also appeared in the music video) and Joel Madden (Good Charlotte) in the song You Don’t Mean Anything.
Wow, it’s truly amazing.
It’s been 8 years already and they’re still together.
I can’t wait till we celebrate the 20th anniversary for this album. Promise to still be a fan in 10 years time? <3
Yes!, I Promise to still be a fan of Simple Plan in 10 years and more, SP Forever!
