In the interview Chuck and Sebastien gave in Italy, on 4th September 2010, the guys were asked many questions concerning their upcoming record (which they describes as pop-punk Nirvana). One of the questions, which you can read in the subtitles at time 1:00 revealed that the name album should be called “Astronaut”.
If the title was real, it would be the first Simple Plan album named by one of the songs in it.
This album’s name has not been confirmed by the band – usually the Simple Plan guys come up with the title when the record’s all finished and ready to be released.
What are your thoughts on this unofficial title? Do you like it? If not, what name would you suggest?
I’m not really too over the moon (get it) about the name. But we’ll see :)

The Name is okay, I guess… But I gotta admit, I was looking forward to something funny like NPNHJB…
And I think when Chuck said “pop punk Nirvana” he was talking about the festival, not the record. For there were a lot of pop punk bands playing like (Sum 41, blink-182, Simple Plan). :)
