Despite the fact that yesterday’s nominations for this year’s Juno Awards (the so-called “Canadian Grammys”) did not include Simple Plan in any of the categories, it seems like Simple Plan still may have something to do with Juno Awards this year.
According to the promo poster from CTV, on February 24th, on a press conference for Juno Awards, Simple Plan will be present to deliver a “special announcement”.
Juno Awards 2012 will be taking place on April 1st this year, which is a date that would work perfectly with Simple Plan’s schedule in case that the upcoming announcement is their appearance on the Juno Awards – Simple Plan will be touring Europe till the end of March and then have a few days off before having to get back to the old continent for their April 13th show in Moscow, Russia, which leaves them plenty of time to get back to Canada.
Is it possible that this is the promised suprise/project Simple Plan have been trying to keep away from the fans? We shall find out soon.
