You love music, you’re a part of your school’s choir and your big dream is to one day be able to sing with your favourite musician – I am sure this must be a reality for many fans, who are lucky enough to have a bit of a musical talent. For some very lucky students from Penticton, Canada, the forementioned dream has come true last night. The students from the Penticton and Princess Margaret high-schools have merged to create one unique choir and got a chance to sing on Simple Plan’s concert in Penticton as the background choir in This Song Saved My Life. Originally, Simple Plan wanted the two shcools to compete for this opportunity, but the community center South Okagan Events Center persuaded them to have 10 students from each high-school in the final choir.
