Yesterday, after the official press release regarding Simple Plan releasing their long-awaited book in November popped up, everybody was getting very excited for the time when the band itself starts talking about the book a little bit more.
Finally today, one of the main initiators of this project – Simple Plan’s drummer, Chuck Comeau, opened up about the band’s upcoming book – which is supposed to be not only a biography and not only a photobook, but something way more and much cooler.
“I am so excited about this project! The SP book comes out in November in French and English! The book will be over 300 pages, will be available around the world and will be the definitive history of Simple Plan so far!”
Already from yesterday’s press release we found out that the book should also be including lots of memorabilia from the band and other interesting things. This is what Chuck mentioned about the content of the book:
“Honestly, you won’t believe the stuff we kept in our archives! Handwritten letters and lyrics, plane tickets, backstage passes, demos…etc.”
But of course one of the most important parts of the book (and also the main reason why it has been regarded to as “the photobook” for all those years) is a collection of photography from all the years that Simple Plan have been around:
“Our friends Patrick, Sim, Chady and Mark Staubach took over 30 000 pictures on and off the stage. It is so hard to choose!”
