In only a couple days, Simple Plan will be leaving Australia and coming back to Europe for a couple of promo stops and summer festivals. The promo stops are mostly in Germany, where the band will not be performing on any festival, but as it’s just been announced, their appearance on the local TV station SAT1 will not only be consisted on an interview, but also a performance of the whole band (thanks Anika for the info).
That means so far Simple Plan’s schedule for Germany (or at least the parts that we are aware of) looks like this:
June 20th – Berlin, Germany – for interviews and performance in the SAT1 studios
June 20th – Kiel, Germany – 7pm – 45-minute performance for N-Joy
June 21st – promo in Hamburg, Germany
After that, the band will be leaving for Spain, where they are playing the U18 festival in Valencia, Bilbao and Santiago, then Sweden for the Peace&Love festival and then Hungary, for their very first appearance there – at the VOLT festival. Because the Prague City Festival in the Czech Republic has been canceled (and so far no rescheduling has been announced), the band will most probably be leaving from Hungary back to Canada, where they are playing on the celebrations of Canada Day on July 1st.
Do you know if Simple Plan’s performance and interview at SAT1 will be on live?
