Even though the exact date has not been set yet, it is a well-known fact now that in November 2012, Simple Plan are planning to release “the book” – a project that’s been promised to the SP fans for the past couple years. And since the book is coming out in only two months, let’s sum up what we know about it so far!
The book (formerly known as the “photobook”) will be documenting the complete history of Simple Plan. It will basically look like a huge scrapbook, including articles about the band written by Kathleen Lavoie, handwritten letters, plane tickets, backstage passes and most importantly – photos. Ever since the band started touring, they’ve been keeping more than 30 000 pictures, taken by Patrick, Sim, Chady and Mark Staubach, so that they’d have enough to choose from for this very special project. In total, the book should be consisted of about 315 pages.
Right now, the guys are still working on the finishing touches of the book. Last night, Chuck tweeted that him and Fred Jerome (Simple Plan’s graphic designer) were working on the book even past midnight. Sim has also already seen a little sneak peak of the book, saying it’s “really freaking cool!!!”.
So, are you, too, already looking forward to the book? What do you think it should be called?
