New information regarding Simple Plan’s stay in Indonesia, where they are scheduled to perform on a ANTV’s (a local TV station) anniversary, has been released today at the press conference held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The production manager of ANTV, Anthony Kelly, revealed that Simple Plan’s sound engineer (Frank Joly) would be arriving to Indonesia a little bit earlier – on Friday – in order to have enough time to set up for the show on Sunday.
Simple Plan also have a little surprise for their local fans – not only will they play nine of their own songs, but they will also perform their own version of a very popular Indonesian song “Iwak Peyek” (check out the original by Trio Macan here). => At the press conference in Jakarta, Indonesia on March 17th, Pierre denied the rumors about Simple Plan playing this Indonesian song live.
