Last year in May, Simple Plan visited Vietnam for the first time, where they played a free concert organised by MTV EXIT, an organisation that tries to spread the word about the situation of human trafficking and exploitation in the world.
Apart from the concert, the guys from Simple Plan also visited a village called Sapa in Vietnam, where they met the local people, played a little acoustic show for the children and got to know more about human trafficking.
MTV EXIT has recently released a video which also includes a TV spot for Simple Plan’s documentary that was filmed in Sapa, Vietnam and which recently aired in Thailand.
